There are events in life that profoundly touch our emotions and friendships, making tangible commitment urgent and essential, something visible in the concreteness that represents memory. The Barbera Fabé is simply this for all of us at Cadgal.
A portion of the revenues from the purchase, production, and sale of Barbera Fabé has already made it possible, in its entirety, to build the “Fabio Costantino” Medical Center in the city of Glei, in the Togolese Republic. Welcomed and supported by the city administration, which is responsible for its management, the center is of vital importance to a basin of nearby towns and villages with a population of over 100,000 inhabitants, who would otherwise be forced to travel over 3 hours to reach another medical facility in the region
The “Fabio Costantino” Medical Center has become an essential resource for the population, and the Ministry of Health of the Togolese Republic has committed to improving accessibility by clearing paths and enhancing the roadways.
It has become an essential commitment for Cadgal to continue supporting the needs for medical personnel, medicines, equipment — often basic necessities such as the already constructed water well.
The country is grappling with social and political tensions – one of the highest infant and maternal mortality rates in Africa – pushes for further strengthening of our commitment to providing ongoing support to the Fabio Costantino Medical Center.
